I was worried at first because I was expecting some more packages.

You’ll notice that I got 2 white buttons. I decided it would be cool to have the home button light up so I got, but because I don’t know how to wire up the LED I also got a normal white...

Frenemies
I know I joke about hating on Winnitron AU guys but that’s not really the case. In reality I might be a little Jealous of them. They’re making their own custom cabinet and it looks awesome!
The shape looks looks great! I can’t wait to see how it ends up with a coat of paint and a flash marquee design.
Best of luck guys
But really, who do you think’s going to finish...

Breaking it down to build it back up (pt 2)
All cleaned out now. This is what we got….
There she is, the game board and instructions for the dip switches.
I LOVE that it has the Sega logo! I also think it’s cool that it has the Shinobi just stuck on with a sticker.
The most interesting thing is that the internet says it came out in 1987 but this board says 1986 Mmmmmm…
Gutted! Plenty of space.
There she is. I...

Breaking it down to build it back up (pt 1)
Today was the day I cleaned out and cleaned up the Cab. About halfway through I realised that it would be really cool if I had made a time-lapse video of it all but it was too late which was lame. Here’s some phones
Inside of the controls. Pretty much the same as what i’m going to get.
Apparently 40c is far too much to pay. The people wouldn’t have so 20c is what it...

The Roadmap
I was very lucky to know some awesome people that let me have their old broken Shinobi Cabinet. Shinobi was developed by Sega and published in arcades 1987 later got ported to home systems.
The Cabinet has some water damage on the front and the tube on the inside is loose but i’m SO happy with. It’s a lot more open then I thought so my worries about making it 2 player are gone....
What is the Winnitron?
“The Winnitron 1000 is a free-to-play independent video game arcade cabinet featuring new games created by indie game developers from Winnipeg and across the globe!” - Winnitron.ca
Now I’m making my own…
